BodyTite™ is a minimally-invasive procedure which uses advanced radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL) technology to sculpt the body and reduce cellulite for a more toned, fit appearance. This revolutionary procedure is able to remove fat while also tightening the skin. It is ideal for treating stubborn problem areas that have proven resistant to diet and exercise, such as the “saddle bags” on women and “love handles” on men.
BodyTite™ can also provide a suitable alternative for some patients with excess sagging skin who do not want to undergo surgical excision. BodyTite™ is commonly used to treat areas of the face, including the chin and neck. It may also be used on areas of the body like the abdomen, buttocks, hips, knees, thighs and upper arms.

What is BodyTite™?

Compared to traditional liposuction techniques, BodyTite™ involves far fewer risks and produces superior results. It is a safer procedure and does not produce unwanted side effects like lumps, bumps or other irregularities that can result from traditional liposuction. BodyTite™ has been approved for use in Canada, Europe, Australia and parts of Asia as well as in the U.S.

Benefits

Treatable areas include the arms, thighs, hips, abdomen, flanks, neck, knees and buttocks.

How Does BodyTite Work?

With BodyTite, liposuction and skin tightening are made possible by utilizing RFAL (radio-frequency assisted lipolysis) and delivering three-dimensional tissue remodeling through fat coagulation and volumetric heating. By combining radio-frequency technology and liposuction, BodyTite suctions away fat while melting existing fat tissues to achieve a smoother, tighter appearance.

What Can I Expect?

It is required that all patients come into our facilities for their free consultation as this gives us an opportunity to assess your current state and ideal results. We encourage patients to take advantage of this opportunity to discuss any concerns or ask any questions they may have in regards to the BodyTite procedure.

Treatment Day

Once the treatment area has been marked and mapped out, local anesthesia will be administered. Once numb, the fatty tissues and skin are treated with RFAL via I.V. needle. Once the controlled thermal levels are reached, liposuctions begins, working to suction out excess fat and fluid via thin, liposuction cannulas. Treatment time varies on the patient and the area(s) to be the treated, ranging anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

What Is The Downtime?

Immediately following your treatment, you may be advised to stay in recovery for up to one hour. It is strongly advised to find someone that can transport your to and from our facilities. You will be given compression garments to wear for up to 2 weeks. These may be swapped out for spanx in the following 3-4 weeks. Some patients may return to work 2 days, post-procedure. However, some individuals that have larger or multiple target areas treated may require up to 1 week of downtime for proper healing.

What Are The Side Effects?

Swelling in the treated areas is expected and will steadily resolve on its own over the course of 8-10 weeks.
Additional side effects include:

When Will I See Results?

It’s important to remember that all individual results vary patient to patient.
Reduction results are visible 4-12 weeks post-treatment while skin tightening results can take anywhere between 3-6 months to become visible.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Majority of patients see dramatic results from one Bodytite treatment. Although rare, some patients may need a second Bodytite procedure to achieve ideal results.
